Baba Gurmukh Singh Baba Uttam Singh Sr.Sec. School was initiated with a great vision by Baba Uttam Singh in 1984. With the bounty of God, blessings of great souls and with the support of sangat, this institution has completed its 37 years and it is touching the zenith of success.

• * At present, there are more than 2000 students who are getting the standardized education from the institution. This institution is proving to be a milestone for the advancement of knowledge with the mission to enlighten the rural people intellectually, physically as well as spiritually. The environment of school is lushed with greenery and exuberant with the spirituality. Keeping in mind the health of the students, there is a provision of clean drinking water. Our school is equipped with airy and spacious building which is helpful in providing the creative surroundings.
• * There are special arrangements of big playgrounds for all types of sports such as Hockey ground with Astroturf is installed and along with this the playgrounds for volleyball, basketball, kho-kho and football are also provided in the school for physical fitness, personality growth and competitive spirit among students.
• * For the overall development of students, the institution has been studded with many facilities. For example: highly modern Science labs (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with updated models and the equipment’s. Adding more ,we have well-furnished computer laboratories, modern multimedia labs for all classes, effective audio- visual aids for educational purposes through smart class projects ,provision of moral and ethical education, special classes for bright and gifted students after the school hours, free medical facilities and free medical check-up, modern and well-stocked library, convenient transport facility to pick and drop the students, generator facility during the power cuts, excellent 100% board results , special spoken English classes etc. To make the students the peers of time different seminars, workshops, one day education excursions and debates are organized frequently.

From the day of its establishment to till date, the students have contributed a lot by achieving different positions in the educational field. Till the session 2018-19, (before covid -19) the school has bagged 32 merits in matriculation exam and 30 merits in +2 (Science and Commerce) exams.
